Paw Prints Mug

My Sandy Paws mugs are inspired by our regular beach walks at Ballyquin Beach. 

I first throw these mugs with a toasty tan stoneware clay.  They are then trimmed, handles attached and the paw prints embossed before being slowly dried and bisque fired.  I then glaze them with 6 different coats of glazing and fire them again to 1220c to achieve this coastal combo. 

The mug will measure approximately 9cm tall.  Every mug has the same theme but are all slightly different.

All my pieces are handmade by me in my studio in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.  All my items are handmade, perfectly imperfect and one of a kind.
