Microgreens Planter - Green

I designed these microgreens planter as the plastic ones I bought were ugly and too big for my windowsill!

They come in 3 sections, the under-dish catches water, the middle section has holes in to drain water away and the lid rests on the top.  Add a thin layer of soil or kitchen roll to the middle section, sprinkle with a layer of microgreens seed and place the lid on, which keeps it dark.  After several days once your seeds have germinated remove the lid and continue growing until they are ready. 

The planter measures approximately 5cm tall and 9cms wide - this is approximate as they all vary!

This planter was designed and thrown by me on the wheel in my studio in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.  

All my products are handmade and perfectly imperfect. No two are identical. 

The microgreens / seed aren’t included but is for illustrative purposes only! But you can grow your own!
