Plantaholic Mug

My Plantaholic mugs were thrown on my potters wheel before being trimmed, handles attached, stamped and carved.  After drying slowly they were bisque fired to 1000°C.  Each leaf was then painstakingly painted with green glaze, colour added to the lettering, dipped in transparent glaze and refired to 1220°C.

The mugs measure approximately 7cm high by approximately 10cm wide.

All my items are handmade by me in my pottery studio in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.  No two are identical and are all perfectly imperfect, just as handmade should be.  Each mug has the same theme but differences will occur due to the handmade nature.
