Splatter Dimple (slight seconds)

My speckled dimple mugs are for people who love texture!  They have dimples pushed into the walls which creates a lovely texture to hold.

These mugs are slight seconds due to some crawling on the rim where the glaze was a bit too thick.  (See close up picture).  They’re still perfectly functional and look fab - the crawling is testimony to the handmade nature - but I’ve discounted them as it’s not quite what I was going for. 

These mugs are made from white stoneware.   They were thrown on my potters wheel before being trimmed, handles attached and slowly dried before being bisque fired, glazed, hand painted with a splatter technique and refired to 1220°C.

Price is per mug.

All my items are handmade by me in my pottery studio in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford.  No two are identical and are all perfectly imperfect, just as handmade should be.  Each mug has the same theme but differences will occur due to the handmade nature.
